New Director of Public Prosecutions questioned

The Justice Committee holds its first evidence session with the new Director of Public Prosecutions, Max Hill QC. He took up the role on 1 November 2018.

Purpose of the session
This session will give him an opportunity to put his priorities for the next five years on record, and it will enable the Committee to ask how he plans to respond to recent events, including the Committee's report on Disclosure of Evidence in Criminal Cases.

Attend the session
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting. There is no system of tickets or advance booking for seats in the public section of the committee room, but there is normally no problem in seating all members of the public who wish to attend. Please advise security staff that you are attending a committee meeting and they will direct you. You should allow at least 20 minutes to go through security.
