Selected humanitarian situations in Africa; and global education inquiry

Inquiry

The Committee took evidence from Minister Stephenson, for the first time since his appointment, on selected matters within his DFID portfolio, focusing upon:

  • the implications of recent announcements on UK aid funding for global education, and
  • certain humanitarian and development situations in Africa, including in Burundi, Cameroon, the DRC (Ebola), NE Nigeria, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
