Follow-up on Yemen, Syria, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories inquiry

Inquiry

The purpose of this session was to follow-up on previous work done by the Committee regarding the humanitarian situations in Yemen, Syria, and Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Among other things, themes for the discussion were funding gaps and disbursal delays for the UN response. The Committee also heard the Minister’s views on challenges to the delivery of humanitarian relief, support for aid and health workers and the progress of the peace process in each region.
