Forced displacement in Africa inquiry

Inquiry

The International Development Committee launched an inquiry into forced displacement in Africa. According to official figures, there are now 68.5 million forcibly displaced people worldwide, 20 million of which currently reside in Africa. This includes more than 13 million internally displaced people (IDPs), 5.6 million refugees and over 700,000 stateless individuals.
