Purpose of the Session
As part of their inquiry into Forced Displacement in Africa, the Committee will take evidence from Professor Betts – co-author of ‘Refuge: Transforming a Broken Refugee System' - on durable solutions for those in protracted refugee situations in Africa. The session will explore how we can ensure successful integration or resettlement for those unable to return and new approaches to supporting refugees, looking at particular examples in East Africa.
