Inquiry

As well as examining specific policy areas, the Home Affairs Committee continues its practice of regular scrutiny of the Home Office’s expenditure and administration.

This includes oral evidence sessions with the Permanent Secretary and other senior officials, and publication of Home Office memoranda which provide detailed explanations of the key elements of each year’s Main Estimate and Supplementary Estimate.
