Inquiry

On Tuesday 2 September the Health Committee held a one-off oral evidence session to look at the work of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

The hearing focused on three areas of NICE’s work: progress on introducing value-based assessment, linking the price of a drug to the value it brings to patients and wider society; development of the recently revised clinical guideline on the use of Statins; plans for producing joint guidance focused on delivering integrated care.
