Annual accountability hearing with the Care Quality Commission

Inquiry

In its report on the appointment of the new Chair of the Care Quality Commission in September 2010, the Committee said that it intended to hold regular annual review meetings with CQC. The Committee decided that it should adopt a similar approach in relation to Monitor, and so both of these organisations gave evidence in separate sessions on Tuesday 28 June 2011.
