Inquiry

Following the publication of the Dilnot report (July 2011) the Health Committee conducted an inquiry into Social Care, publishing its report on 8 February 2012. The report’s key finding was that older people were being let down by fragmented care and that there was a need for more joined-up services, with the pulling together of NHS and social care funding at the local level.

This was the Committee's follow-up inquiry into social care.
