Pre-appointment hearing for Chair of the Food Standards Agency (FSA)

Inquiry

The term of office of Lord Rooker's Chairmanship of the Food Standards Agency ended on 31 July 2013. The Department of Health has advertised the post, and the Health Committee planned to hold a pre-appointment hearing for the Government’s preferred candidate for the post of Chair of the FSA.

The Government have not put forward a preferred candidate so the hearing has been postponed until further notice.
