Purpose of the session
The session follows the publication of the Professional Standards Authority's Lessons Learned review, which looked particularly at matters of patient protection and the NMC's communications with families, including the NMC's handling of recent subject access and freedom of information requests. The Committee's questioning is expected to focus on matters arising from that review.
