Kark Report inquiry

Inquiry

The Department for Health and Social Care has recently published the findings of the review of the fit and proper persons test led by Tom Kark QC.

The Committee will hold a one-off session looking at the findings of the Kark report. As well as the author of the report, Tom Kark QC, the Committee will also hear from relevant regulators. The session will explore the findings and recommendations of the review and the Fit and Proper Persons Regulation.

A full call for evidence is not being issued in connection with this session but any organisation or individual wishing to make a written submission regarding the findings and the recommendations of the Kark report is welcome to do so and should contact the Clerk of the Committee at hsccom@parliament.uk.

Please be aware that we are unable to respond to submissions or comment on cases individually.
