Well-being inquiry

Inquiry

With new Sustainable Development Indicators in place, this inquiry examined the continuing developments on measuring and using well-being. This covered elements of the three pillars of sustainable development—environmental (or natural), economic and social capital.

We also examined developments specifically on one of those pillars—natural capital—and the work of the Natural Capital Committee (NCC) to identify any lessons for measuring well-being and for 'subjective well-being' (part of its social capital component).
