Inquiry

The focus of this inquiry was to identify environmental measures needed in Autumn Statement 2012 and Budget 2013.The Committee explored the environmental aspects of Budget 2012, including measures announced to support further fossil fuel extraction and plans to improve or replace the Carbon Reduction Commitment. And progress against the Committee’s recommendations from its report on Budget 2011 and environmental taxes were also be examined.
