Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership inquiry

Inquiry

The Committee undertook an inquiry into the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) being negotiated between the EU and the US.

The inquiry focused on the potential environmental impacts in the UK of TTIP, including through changes to regulations and product standards and the operation of an ‘investor-state dispute settlement’ regime; and on the potential effects on developing countries.
