Minister questioned on new UK research funding agency

The Science and Technology Committee previously heard from academics and representatives from international and UK universities and research bodies, this session explores how the proposed new funding agency—‘UK ARPA’—will fit into the existing UK research and innovation landscape and its implications for existing bodies (e.g. UKRI and Innovate UK), as well as what it will focus on and how it will operate. In addition, its impact on equality and diversity will be addressed.
