The session is likely to be wide-ranging, focusing particularly on environmental policy areas covered by the Committee in the previous and current Parliaments. These may include issues such as the future of environmental protection after leaving the European Union, future regulation of the chemicals industry, soil health, agri-environment funding outside the Common Agricultural Policy and the Government’s 25-Year Plan for the Environment.
