At its meeting on 24 March, the Public Accounts Commission took evidence from Gareth Davies, Comptroller and Auditor General, about the National Audit Office’s Strategy for 2020-21 to 2024-25. The Commission questioned Mr Davies on a range of issues, including his strategic review of the organisation, the proposals in the strategy, and how the NAO was responding to the impact of the coronavirus. A transcript of the meeting is available below.
Following the public session, the Committee approved the Strategy as required under the Budget Responsibility and National Audit Act 2011.
