EU proposals for the dairy sector and the future of the dairy industry

Inquiry

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee decided to examine the UK dairy industry. In particular the Committee considered the potential impact of the European Commission’s ‘Milk Package’ proposals for dairy farmers and the UK dairy supply chain.

On 16th February 2011, The Committee published its Third Report of Session 2010-12, EU proposals for the dairy sector and the future of the dairy industry.
