Purpose of the session
The Committee will explore how SEND is funded, the challenges faced by schools and local authorities and the impact of reforms to funding for pupils with SEND.
The SEND inquiry is examining the success of the Government's 2014 reforms to the SEND system, while the inquiry into school and college funding is being held to determine what the Department for Education's priorities should be for the next Spending Review period.
