Children's Commissioner for England one-off evidence session

The Education Committee holds a one-off evidence session with Anne Longfield OBE, Children's Commissioner for England on Wednesday 28 October.

Call for written submissions

In August 2015, the Children's Commissioner published a document, Ambitious for Children, setting out five commitments for the next five years:

  • Understanding and celebrating childhood
  • Being ambitious about every child in care
  • See a major reduction in children being harmed
  • See sustained action to reduce inequalities for children
  • See a machinery of Government that best helps children flourish

The Committee invites short written submissions on these commitments and the Children's Commissioner's work on child protection and child welfare.

Please limit written submissions to no more than two sides of A4. The deadline for receipt of evidence is midday on Friday 16 October 2015.
