UK trade negotiations: Agreement with New Zealand

Inquiry

The Committee has been scrutinising the Government’s free trade negotiations with New Zealand. Now that the Government has published the free trade agreement (FTA) with New Zealand, the Committee will take more written and oral evidence before publishing a report on the FTA and potentially recommending a House of Commons debate before MPs consider whether to delay ratification of the agreement. The Committee previously took evidence on the Agreement in Principle between the UK and New Zealand.

The Committee invites stakeholders to tell it what they think of the UK-New Zealand free trade agreement, and welcomes submissions on any of the questions in the call for evidence by 11.59pm on 3 April.
