Committee publishes correspondence from David Cameron and Lex Greensill

29 June 2021

As part of its inquiry into Lessons from Greensill Capital, the Treasury Committee held evidence sessions with Lex Greensill CBE, Rt Hon. David Cameron, Rt Hon. Rishi Sunak MP and Charles Roxburgh, and Sir Tom Scholar and Charles Roxburgh.

Following the evidence sessions, the Committee Chair, Rt Hon. Mel Stride MP, wrote to Lex Greensill and David Cameron requesting further evidence or clarification on points raised during the session.

The Chair also wrote to The Bond & Credit Co. requesting written evidence in response to comments made during the session by Mr Greensill.

The Committee is today publishing this correspondence, alongside a letter received from Charles Roxburgh which provides additional evidence as a follow-up to both sessions.
