Committee to hold first evidence session into diversity in STEM
The Science and Technology Committee is to hold the first evidence session of its inquiry into diversity in STEM. In this session, MPs will examine the extent to which some groups, such as women, certain ethnic minorities, people with disabilities and those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, are underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) sectors. The session will also probe the reasons behind a lack of diversity in STEM, and its consequences.
