Business Committee quizzes Competition and Markets Authority and Ofcom chiefs
In this third session of the inquiry, the cross-party group of MPs will ask questions about possible changes to competition policy that could arise from the increasing dominance of tech giants in digital markets.
There will also be questions about how the CMA’s role could change in relation to the UK’s competition regime and digital market regulations, and how those markets might be impacted.
The Committee may also question how the CMA, Ofcom and Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum (DRCF) will collaborate with domestic and overseas organisations such as the European Commission and the Federal Trade Commission to improve digital regulation.
