18 January 2022 - Pre-appointment hearing for the position of Chair of NHS England - Oral evidence

Richard Meddings will appear before the Health and Social Care Committee for pre-appointment scrutiny following the Government’s announcement that he is the preferred candidate for the post of Chair of NHS England.

MPs will consider the candidate’s prior experience, suitability for the role and his priorities.  

Richard Meddings, former Chair of TSB Bank group, is currently the proposed Chair of the U.K. subsidiary of Credit Suisse.
