Influencer inquiry to explore online radicalisation

Mis- and disinformation, conspiracy theories, and extreme content are likely to be examined in this fourth evidence session of the inquiry into influencer culture. Academics, anti-conspiracy theory influencers, and influencer intelligence leaders are expected to help MPs explore how influencers use the positions of trust they occupy to share harmful content.

The Committee is also expected to consider how content moderation can affect freedom of expression and diversity in the influencer community. The inquiry has previously heard from experts and celebrity influencers such as Love Island contestant Amy Hart
