Committee to question energy suppliers on price rises and net zero

The Industry and Regulators Committee will hear evidence from UK energy suppliers about the current energy price issues, the future of the energy system and the role of Ofgem, the energy regulator. The Committee will discuss the potential impications of current energy prices on retail energy regulation, how the relationship between energy companies and consumers might change as part of the net zero transition, and whether the Government has provided enough clarity for energy companies to invest in efforts towards net zero.
