Expert advisers give evidence on costs of net zero

The Industry and Regulators Committee will speak to independent expert advisers from the Climate Change Committee and the National Infrastructure Commission about the costs of the net zero transition and the role of Ofgem, the UK’s energy regulator. The meeting will cover the estimated costs of reaching net zero emissions by 2050, the question of who should fund investment costs, and how the transition should be regulated.
