China Minister speaks to Lords Committee about COP15 goals
Minister Yang Xiaoguang, Minister and First Staff Member at the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland will speak to the House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Committee about the People’s Republic of China’s approach as hosts of the COP15 Presidency.
Minister Yang will be asked what China's goals are for COP15 and how the Chinese Presidency is promoting coordination between COP15 and COP26.
The committee will hear also (at 11.15am) from a second panel who will explore links between the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and other international agreements which could influence the success of the CBD and COP15 in particular.
