How can professional and elite sports clubs help their communities?
The House of Lords Select Committee on a National Plan for Sport and Recreation continues its public evidence sessions this week with two panels. The Committee will hear from the charitable arms of Everton FC, Saracens and Accrington Stanley to consider the role professional sports clubs can play in supporting their local communities. The Committee will also explore how different forms of recreation and physical activity such as angling, yoga and group exercise classes can get the country more active.
