What role can batteries and fuel cells play in transport?
Continuing its inquiry into the role batteries and fuel cells in achieving net-zero emissions, the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee will examine the manufacture of fuel cells in the UK and also applications of batteries and fuel cells in transport.
The Committee will firstly hear from manufacturers about fuel cell production, and whether the UK is placed to have a leading role. The Committee will then focus what role batteries and fuel cells play in decarbonising the transport sector and the challenges involved for road transport, rail and aviation.
