The EU Environment Sub-Committee will be hearing evidence on the implications of the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement for the healthcare sector.
A first panel involves representatives from the NHS Confederation, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry, Kidney Care UK, and Cancer Research UK. A second panel involves Minister for Health, Edward Argar MP.
Areas of discussion:
The Committee will ask a first panel about:
- The patient perspective
- Research implications of the Agreement
- Reciprocal healthcare
- Access to medicines
The Committee will then seek the Minister’s response to the concerns raised by witnesses in the previous panel.
