What can we learn from Norwegian and Swedish sport policy? Committee asks experts

The House of Lords Select Committee on a National Plan for Sport and Recreation will this week hear from expert witnesses from Norway and Sweden as it explores the Scandinavian model for delivering participation in sport and supporting citizens to be more active. Norway and Sweden have been praised for having greater female participation in sport and for encouraging young people to be active, with a focus on their right to be healthy and on development rather than result-orientated sport for children under 13 years old.
