Foreign Secretary to face MPs’ questions

The Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper MP, will face questions from the Foreign Affairs Committee at 14.00 on Tuesday 14 July. She will appear alongside the Interim Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), Nick Dyer. 

The evidence session will seek to understand the Foreign Secretary’s priorities and overarching strategy. The session is likely to cover a wide range of topics, including events in the Middle East and the ongoing FCDO restructure, redundancies and budget cuts.
