MPs quiz Luke Pollard on the Defence Industrial Strategy and Defence Investment Plan 

In the final session of its inquiry into defence skills and jobs in Scotland, the Scottish Affairs Committee will question the Minister for Defence Readiness and Industry, Luke Pollard MP.  

The cross-party committee will examine the Government’s defence spending plans and the delivery of the Defence Industrial Strategy, with a particular focus on their impact on Scotland’s defence sector. Questions may focus on the Defence Investment Plan and impacts of its delay on industry as well as broady UK Government practices that are impacting Scottish businesses, including support for SMEs.
