Committee questions CalMac on ferry services
The Scottish Affairs Committee holds the final session of its inquiry into fixed link connectivity.
In the first panel, the cross-party committee will hear from HiTrans, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and ZetTrans on current transport connectivity on Scottish islands, the impact of existing fixed link infrastructure and the role of the UK Government in supporting these projects.

MPs will then question the Chief Executive and Fleet Director of CalMac, the Scottish Government-owned corporation which provides ferry services for Scotland’s west coast. Members may explore the importance of ferry services to island communities and its plans to improve ferry service reliability.
