Housing Committee examines Draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill and publishes written evidence submissions
On Tuesday, the Housing, Communities and Local Government (HCLG) Committee examines banning the sale of new leasehold flats and making commonhold the default tenure, as it continues its inquiry scrutinising the Government’s draft Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Bill.
The cross-party Committee will hear from four panels of witnesses, including from financial and property sectors as well as those representing leasehold and shared ownership advisory bodies.
Representatives from Grosvenor Property, TheCityUK, Association of British Insurers, UK Finance, Nationwide, and the Home Builders Federation are among the witnesses on Tuesday. The full witness list is included below.
