Bank of England Governor to discuss MPC decision to hold interest rates at 3.75%
Members of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), including the Governor, will appear in front of the Treasury Committee next Tuesday afternoon.

The session will focus on the Bank’s February Monetary Policy Report and the decision to maintain Bank Rate at 3.75%.
As well as the Governor, all voting preferences from the February MPC meeting will be represented by the other witnesses for the session. Dr Huw Pill and Megan Greene, who both voted to hold rates, will appear alongside Professor Alan Taylor, who voted to cut interest rates to 3.5%.
