MPs to quiz new UKRI Chief Executive, Professor Sir Ian Chapman

The Science, Innovation and Technology Committee will question Professor Sir Ian Chapman, the new Chief Executive of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), in his first appearance before the committee since he took up the role in August 2025.  

The cross-party committee may ask Sir Ian about his reflections on his first six months in the role, UKRI’s new strategic objectives and how he will monitor progress towards these objectives.
