Committee takes evidence from Migration Observatory and Office for National Statistics
The Justice and Home Affairs Committee is holding the eighth and ninth evidence sessions of its inquiry into settlement, citizenship, and integration.
Meeting details
In the first of the two sessions, the Committee will hear from Dr Madeleine Sumption MBE, Director of the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford, and Deputy Chair of the Migration Advisory Committee. The Committee will ask questions about immigration patterns, influences on Government policy and the potential implications of proposed changes to settlement and citizenship rules.
In the next session, the Committee will hear from the Office for National Statistics, covering the collection of statistics and data around migration to and from the UK.
