The Committee announced on Tuesday last week that it would be hearing from EGSC members, BBC Chair Samir Shah and non-executive directors Robbie Gibb and Caroline Thomson, with editorial standards advisors Michael Prescott and Caroline Daniel also invited to give evidence.

The session will focus on the BBC EGSC’s processes and how it ensures output complies with the BBC’s editorial guidelines.

The Committee previously wrote to the BBC to ask about the action being taken over concerns raised in a report sent to the corporation’s board by Mr Prescott. The response from BBC Chair Samir Shah was published last week.
