Appointment of Stephen Blyth to the Financial Policy Committee (Pre-appointment hearing)

The Treasury Committee will hold a pre-commencement hearing with a newly appointed external member of the Financial Policy Committee (FPC), Stephen Blyth, next Wednesday afternoon.
MPs will seek to determine whether Professor Blyth has the required appropriate professional competence and independence to join the FPC.
