FCDO Permanent Under-Secretary to give evidence to Foreign Affairs Committee

The Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Sir Oliver Robbins, will make his first appearance in front of the Foreign Affairs Committee.  

In this session, Members will examine the work of the FCDO and the priorities of the new Permanent Under-Secretary, with a specific focus on the impact of the recent Spending Review. The FCDO suffered one of the largest real-term cuts in the Spending Review, including a 17% reduction in the Department’s administrative budget.
