The Women and Equalities Committee (WEC) will hear from investors across different business sectors during the third evidence session of its female entrepreneurship inquiry on Wednesday, 4 June.
Meeting details
MPs on the cross-party committee chaired by Labour MP Sarah Owen will explore ways in which greater investment can be unlocked for female-led businesses and how investors can provide greater support for female entrepreneurs.
Discussion will focus on investment practices and biases, structural barriers, funding disparities affecting female entrepreneurs and what role the Government could play in addressing inequalities. The Committee will also examine regional investment inequalities and the level of data and transparency in investment practices.
