Permanent Secretary Matthew Rycroft questioned on work of the Home Office
The Home Affairs Committee will question Permanent Secretary at the Home Office, Sir Matthew Rycroft on Tuesday 4 February.
Meeting details
The wide-ranging session will examine the operations of the Home Office, including its culture, leadership and expenditure. With the asylum system continuing to drive significant cost pressures, the Committee will question the Permanent Secretary on how he intends to meet planned savings set out in the Autumn Budget.
Questions will also focus on the delivery of policies within the Home Office’s remit, including asylum and immigration, policing and counter-terrorism.
