The former Independent Adviser for Social Cohesion and Resilience to the UK Government and Author of the Khan Review will appear before the cross-party committee to answer questions examining its most prominent themes.

Dame Sara Khan was tasked with understanding the state of cohesion and chief threats to it in the UK. The session will scrutinise recommendations made by the Review, published in March last year (2024), which have not yet been implemented by the new Government.

WEC’s community cohesion inquiry examines the state of community cohesion nationwide and how barriers to it can be best addressed.
