The Committee is exploring the scale-up scene and why the UK still struggles to turn innovative start-ups into successful scale-ups, and ensure their long-term expansion happens in the UK.

- The performance of the British Business Bank in supporting UK scale-ups, including supporting innovative tech companies to access capital, and
- assessing whether existing programmes from the bank are keeping pace with technological change.

- The role that Innovate UK and AHRC play in helping innovative businesses grow,
- whether they have the resources and expertise to support effectively scale-ups in the AI sector, and
- the design of the second wave of the Creative Industries Cluster Programme.
