The House of Lords Science and Technology Committee will take evidence from larger companies and international experts as part of its ongoing inquiry into engineering biology. The session will focus on whether larger companies are able to pull through innovative engineering biology R&D, how the UK Government’s support for the sector compares with other countries and the extent to which UK institutional investors are more concerned with financial performance than underlying technology when assessing potential investment opportunities.
