The Department for Education (DfE) faces questions from the Foreign Affairs Sub-Committee on the Overseas Territories on support of students from British Overseas Territories. Minister of State for Skills, Apprenticeships and Higher Education at the DfE, Luke Hall MP, will give evidence at 13.45 on Monday 20 May.

Written evidence, received by the Sub-Committee, outlines the challenges that students from Overseas Territories face in accessing education in the UK, in particular tertiary education. This session will examine the provisions and support offered by the UK Government, asking what can be done to improve our offer to students from Overseas Territories. It will also ask about the support for Overseas Territories Governments in the provision of education and future plans in this area.
